"On That Day"

Recently, I wrote a song about one of the most important days in my life so far. Obviously, the Bridge and Chorus aren't actually true yet, but the song is coming from a perspective of my future self. It was the day in August, 2016, that God changed my life through a novel. A warm August day

Sitting in my room

Turning page after page

Summer is such a good book

Then my heart stops

On page three-thirty-seven

Tears flooded my eyes

As her baby went to heaven
