The Proposal

"Will you marry me?" The four words that many girls and women dream of, but they don't think 
about the other One who's been asking the same question forever, and they don't realize it.

The dream: a handsome man, on his knee, professing how much she means to him. He wants to spend the rest of his life with her, and promises to spend the rest of his days loving her and protecting her. 

This is the typical dream that has been influenced by movies and books, but none of them ever mention the best proposal ever: Jesus' proposal to you, and He's just waiting for you to accept. 

Did you know that you're His bride who is awaiting the date of her wedding? He is pursuing you right now, and wants you to pursue Him back. He loves you so much, and, like a husband and wife, He'd die for you, and He did. He already died for you, rose from the dead, and continues to pursue you. 

So, right now, if you haven't already jumped at the chance to accept, He has His hand extended to you, asking for your hand, asking for you to be His bride. 

I mean, personally, marrying the Savior of the world sounds like something that could only come from a dream, from a movie, but it's real. Completely real. Jesus wants to marry His bride. You.

He cherishes you, He adores you, He's madly and deeply in love with you.

And He loves you.

He wants to marry you, and He's just waiting for you to accept His proposal.
