"She Turns To You"

This next post is about a song I am writing. Lately this song is becoming more and more true to me as I grow closer with God all the time. The title of this song is called She Turns To You. The story behind it is basically about me, but from a different person's point of view, almost as if they've watched my whole life and observed everything, then they finally notice one thing that I do a lot now. I turn to God. It's about the times where either great things happen, things seem mediocre (but there is always something wonderful happening behind the scenes), or life doesn't seem so great, almost like everyone's against you. But if you turn to God, then you'll know for sure in your heart that everything will be okay. Below you'll find the pre-chorus and the chorus of the song. I hope you enjoy.

"[Pre-Chorus]

But when she gets the part,
And finally a star,
After years and years of trying

And the times she's down
In her room, lights out
Sitting all alone crying

[Chorus]

She turns to You
The only one who can lift her up
She runs to You
Who can give her unconditional love

You made things right, even when they were so wrong
Like day and night, like a change in songs

She goes to You
Gives You the glory, Author of her story
She knows that You
Will take care of her, throughout all life's storms

She turns to You
Because You are who You are"

I'd like to thank you for taking time to read this. I hope God doesn't only touch your heart through what I write, but through your own experiences. He loves you unconditionally. God inspires me all the time and He really is the true author for everything I write. I'm just here writing it for Him. I hope He brings light to any darkness that is trying to close in on you. I know He will. Here's something for you today, even a challenge maybe. Anywhere, in a notebook, on your phone, or even on a napkin or the back of a receipt, write down how you deal with your own problems, then write down what you could ask God help for instead of doing it your own way. (You don't even have to write it down, you can do it right now).

God is with you all the time. If there are moments where you don't want to talk to Him verbally, you can simply just speak the words in your mind. He does hear you. You are so special to Him, and He wouldn't trade you for anything. He already sent Jesus, His own son,
to die, in my opinion in the most crucial way, for you. The Bible could basically have been addressed to you. It could have said "The Bible. To: [Your Name]". I'm serious. Each verse and promise and word is for you. I still need to do my large share of reading myself, but the words tugging at my brain to read the Bible are becoming louder and louder ever since they started as a gentle whisper that was pushing me to read the Bible. God bless you. He loves you, more than you can ever comprehend.
