2025 Vision Board
In early February, I decided to create my first vision board. I created six separate sections of words/themes that I want 2025 to be for me. The phrase (as you may have already heard a million times from me and will continue to hear) for the year 2025 (and long after that) is "Protecting my happiness and peace."
The six words I have chosen for each section:
Happiness: A positive mental state of wellbeing; the trigger of positive emotions, ranging from contentment to utter joy; happiness rarely comes from perfection, instead it is the ability to look beyond life's imperfections. In this section, I included ideas of vacation, romanticism, anniversary trip, and photography.
Peace: It does not mean to be in a place where this is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart. This is a collection for reading, listening to music, and being intentional.
Soft Life: A life of ease, peace, comfort, and intentional happiness. It does not require struggle love, stress, and distress. It consists of mutual relationships, clarity, and self-care. Cute things like self-care, makeup, clothing, and candles.
Elysian: Beautiful or creative; divinely inspired; peaceful and perfect. This has concepts of writing, singing, design, and anything else creative.
Eunoia: A pure and well-balanced mind, a good spirit. "Beautiful thinking." This one is focused on anything bible-related, inspirational quotes to better myself, and the "Let Them Theory."
Vision: An image of what the future could be as a product of your imagination, fueled by a deep desire to become what you can truly be. This section features taking initiative, saving money, girl boss, planning, organization, cleaning, projects, working out, and eating healthy. The things that take work and extra motivation to get done.
Now, what's the point? I think happiness in life requires intentionally being happy, and this is a blueprint to creating the life I want. Some of these things are easy, I already do them, and come naturally, while others take effort to make sure I do them. I love romanticizing life and seeing it through an aesthetic perspective. It just makes me feel happier, and I enjoy life so much more. Going into 2025, I really wanted to have a visual representation of how I wanted my life to go, and, honestly, I think a lot of this will be for the rest of my life. I've just never found defined words for what I want. In the process of creating it, I discovered additional things that I wanted. The definitions are close to what I was going for, but not always exact.

I think God wants us to be very intentional with the lives we live and not just go through the motions. This board has nothing to do with manifestation, just simply my hopes for what I want and what I plan to do. I'm just happy I have the ability to create the life I want. Now go make the life you want, whether you take little steps or you cross over the Grand Canyon. Since it is already March, I can say that my life this year has been very intentional, and I'm happy.
